    JPL quarter restarts

From my experience as a player, the 2nd and 4rth quarters start with the restart of the previous play. 1st and 3rd quarters starts with kickoff.

Shaming Refs & Financial incentive to Ref (in addition to match fees)

OK. Probably just promoting their own cause. But in US refereeing is not very popular because of all the abuse that comes with it. Whether its baseball, football, soccer there is always that screeming from parents and coaches in the US. I guess in the UK the refs don't mind. But in US the...

Goalkeeper picking ball up twice in youth games.

A penalty is a punishment on a team from a offense (foul). A penalty kick though, is a kick taken on the penalty spot with one on one keeper vs kicker. No players other than the kicker and goalie are allowed in the penalty area and arc. It is used to punish an offense from the defending team in...

    Frozen pitches

Under 60 degress for US in youth soccer. Don't know about y'all's in UK but it should be similar. We also suspend icy matches with snow and ice. Check with local FA or the rules on the FA's site or the IFAB Laws of the Game. You should be able to find what you are looking for there.

Goalkeeper picking ball up twice in youth games.

I am thinking of penalising the incident with a little word with keep. Just giving a learning experience with a penalty (not a pen kick).

Goal after GK handling outside PA.

For the not on purpose its for unatraully bigger positions with hand balls. In this case I assumed the GK arms were wide.

Goal after GK handling outside PA.

Well I was asuming that the GK was spreading out his arms on purpose because it right outside pen area. Keep probably kept hands raised as i seen in many incidents similar. The topic above didn't say anything about the arms posture. It would've been DOGSO if goal not scored, but GK still commits...

And if its that he will be taken off the pitch.

Yellow card and physio coming on

I said IF it is a bad injury OR an injury that would take a long time like 7-14 minutes. And there was no advantage so play is stopped. And I show a yellow. Capese?

Penalty Shoot Out- Change in Order

Its valid. I can see how this can work out. Player takes penalty. Player goes out of pitch with ref's permision. Opponents reduce number of players. Quite simple really, and it is a U15 game. Not the pros, amateur game. Good job

Yellow card and physio coming on

Probably would need the player to be taken off if its bad injury. or one that takes 7-14 minutes or something like that. Yellow card since play is stopped, and restart after player is off with free kick.

    JPL quarter restarts

Most games in US have unlimited subs BTW. Mainly to make every kid have decent amount of playing time.

RKC v PEC offside from corner

Offsides cannot occur during corner kicks: "3. No offence There is no offside offence if a player receives the ball directly from: • a goal kick • a throw-in • a corner kick" (IFAB Laws of the Game, Page 101, Law 11, Offsides) Referee should've known that. He really needs to review that. And the...

    Sin bin

I think you should just book him after you told him that was a bookable offence at the next stoppage. No red for me. He made an unsporting act that violated the Laws of the Game (see Fouls & Misconduct), but I think a red is a bit much. I see how that could be a red through constant dissent, but...

    asked for wall

Strange incident it seems. Hmmmm. I can say that the defenders might be a little inexperienced maybe. You can try to guide them, or you can let them be. Either way doesn't hurt the game, it gives a little learning experience though for the defenders if you guide them. You made the right move...

Manager bawling out their own player

Well that was what the USSF (United States Soccer Federation) says in its own rulebook. I guess in UK its different with their policies. But at least caution the coach if it gets out of hand. And the spectator one is mainly the parents if they commit violent acts or verbal abuse.

Manager bawling out their own player

But this is just a youth game. Coaches shouldn't be yelling at their players in this way. Referees are supposed to be regulating the players, staff, and spectators. And its just common sense to stick up for these players. If the coach is acting unacceptably, the right thing to do is to caution...

Manager bawling out their own player

Agreeing with @joeref on this one. All the actions he listed for card offence are applicable in all situation. These are children, not big league players. They are playing for their own enjoyment. Kids do not deserve to be insulted at or dicouraged by an adult at their growing age. If anyone is...
