With the Female pathway now going under Harley I suspect the process will be more in-line with the male pathway. Remember in previous years you had to request to go for promotion etc. So lets see how it develops.

Lots of tournement organisers have a pool of officials they contact. Clubs that organise them are a good start on who to contact. Or a local referee appointment secretary

As long as the official is then consistant with his 8 second count thats all that matters - nothing worse than as someone mentoned a quick 8 second count then the next one being a more relaxed count. I suspect give it a couple of game pre-season and players will start counting for us...

Each county has a different way of organising pre-season matches. My parent county leaves it to the clubs to find officials and my other county this season is using the centre circle app. But for now its the more senior clubs Step 3-6 that are looking for officials. August will be the step 7 etc...

Not sure abou the rest of you but I think the FA's approach to the retentions this year was strange - took ages to send the merit table - but no retention email - just a MOAS invite to the fitness test.
