Good afternoon,

After a couple of seasons out the game I’m registering for next season.
I’m looking to get back involved on the WNL next season but don’t know who to speak to regarding this.
I’ve asked Carla at the FA and she said speak to my county FA. They’ve said I need to speak to the FA.
Can any body point me in the right general direction at all please?
Thanks 👍

Welcome back. Carla Parker at The FA appoints to WNL, but some appointments are handled by CFA's so keep both onside!

Carla would be your point of contact.

There is some changes going on and Harley sent a message out to us (WNL referees) very recently, (Due to staffing restructures within the department, Ross Joyce, (National Referee Manager), will be taking on interim responsibility for managing the progression pathway within the Women’s Game. This will help ensure we maintain momentum, consistency, and the ongoing development of the Women’s Pathway as part of our wider review within F.A Refereeing.)

Have your County FA still got you down as a 4W / 3W on their end? I'd check that with your RDO

If you aren't a 3W anymore then you'll need to speak to your CFA as they put people forward to the WNL to be ARs.

That will almost certainly be the case since 3W's are reselected each season and you said you've been out for a while.

Thanks for the responses/advice. I’ve added a screenshot from the FAs my account page but I’ve also emailed Staffs FA to get some kind of clarification. IMG_0943.png

If you're considering refereeing (and not just running the line) i'd note that fitness tests are going this month only to my knowledge. Harley/Ross are the point of contact for these but you'll only be invited to book through MOAS once your profile there updates to reflect the 3W, so my first action for you would be getting your CFA to sort that.

Sorry to go off topic but I’ve just gone on moas and had this invite. Had nothing through email though. Can anyone provide any details at all please?IMG_0947.png

Sorry for my ignorance but been out a while. Are fitness tests for all 3w now? (Like 4s up)
Last time I was involved there was only a fitness test to get on the 3w-2w promotion pathway. Thanks

I've got my L3 test on saturday. 32 degrees forecast. I've really got an incredible knack for finding the hottest day of the year to do my test!
