I refereed a supply league game a few seasons ago just before Easter. The away team superstar called me a "f***ing egg"! Hilarious, but a yellow card was the result. More hilarious was the next week I was asked to line at their home ground and it was Easter weekend. As we went out for the warm up I got the manager to call the superstar over. "What's wrong ref?" said the player. "Nothing, but last week you made me laugh when you called me a f***ing egg so I brought you this" and gave him a cream egg. He took it in good part. After the game though he was really angry. His manager had eaten the egg during the game!!!
