The Ref Stop

England v Argentina

The Ref Stop
Can't get beaten from there, assumed it was deflected at first
It's been coming - we've been too defensive since scoring. Couple of decent saves by Pickford, and one where they hit and post and should've scored.

Assume exception due to "especially a head injury"

Don't think it quite reached the below level of head injury. Plus he wouldn't have had to go off at all if he was.

severe injury has occurred, especially a head injury (e.g. concussion),
cardiac issue or life-threatening event (e.g. seizure, choking etc.)

Well thank f… that’s over. Now I can deal with the really stressful stuff. Like will I actually have a job at the end of this bs restructuring we’re dealing with ?

And what actually happens on a picket line as I’m on strike officially for the first time ever tomorrow. 🤔

Injuries and illness hurt. Rice was cooked after half an hour. No Saka. James died second half. But surely Tuchel went a bit too far there. Surely Mainoo for Rice.

Looks like the little bit if contact with Messi when Spence won the ball was the difference. Messi wanted it. Spence and O’Reilly didn’t react quick enough. Messi only needs a yard.

Gorra say, I ain't too fussed
It would wind me up if we got robbed, but we didn't, our negative approach and countless defenders got humped by the better team
No doubt the German will keep his job as the FA are dull as dishwater, but it was so very very negative after scoring the opener out of the blue
We have the commercially more valuable squad, nut you'd never ever know it
