Have to say, thought Bankes had a very good game.

I think, on Kepa, it is a clear ‘hold the whistle’, there is no rush here, it is being reported in the media as a bad error, which he will be disappointed about.I thought he was very good, as indeed were Taylor and Oliver on the two earlier games yesterday.
For the Kepa foul, I suspect he tied himself up in knots a bit. in that he stopped play thinking it was DOGSO, but then quickly realised there were two covering defenders between the attacker and goal. With the benefit of hindsight I think he probably wishes he had played an advantage.
Also shows why referees need to be given time. I personally never thought he was going to be good enough to be an SG1 referee based on his first couple of seasons, but is now one of the safest pair of hands and is trusted with the biggest games.

That’s where the challenge started, but a lot happened after that. Thank goodness City won or I dread to think what the meltdown from Man City fans would have beenGiven the result, who cares, but if the game had swung the other way, I think this would go down as a second cup final when City should have been playing against 10 after DOGSO.
This is where the foul started...

Look at the video and there's a case for Kepa initially just impeding but if there was no foul, Doku had an open goal. "Too much to do"? Well, yes, after the time it took him to escape Kepa's clutches.
