By cop on the 8th invites go out I believe
I appreciate that the wait is agonising, but even if they are out even by cop today (9th) then that’s not bad really when considering games played on the 27th December counted and so club marks and those with observers on the game had to have submitted (though it was a tighter turnaround asked by the FA last season - by 31st December, whereas this season it was by the end of the first week of January I believe).Bloody FA and their delays. I’m hopeful. End of October numbers I was 3rd, and I’ve increased my average since then but I know with midseason it’s really limited numbers! Fingers crossed …
It will be interesting to see the numbers.
With the shenaningans at Step 2, has to be likely there may be no midseason promotions at L2, which you would expect will have a ripple effect.
That being said, I don't think excess numbers at L3 has been quite as much of an issue this year, although that could easily be geographically specific
In contrast, from what I've heard when doing Step 2 lines, L2 refs are struggling to get games

Yeah I anticipate very limited numbers from 3-2, but probably closer to normal numbers of 4-3 and if anything, higher than normal 5-4 (I would be suprised if the FA don't take everyone that's been nominated to them, given some of the troubles so far this season)
I'm not basing this on any exclusive knowledge though... just my own thoughts.
Wouldn't shock me if that noon deadline has not been hit (again). I've not heard of anyone that's had an email yet (although don't bank on that)
