Basically a bunch of parents have just killed those clubs.

A huge amount of damage done to the young ref as well I think. I hope he is getting the support he needs to get through it.
Absolutely and the 25+ kids.
What a disgrace. Firstly from the players regardless of their age - I've watched/coached loads of U9s upwards and seen petulant stuff and occasional pushing and shoving but nothing like that. As for the parents, whilst I understand the natural instinct to protect your child, the less said about their behaviour the better.
What I would also say is if the young ref has come out of this unscathed psychologically, I reckon he'll go far. Did the right thing (at this age group) by gently trying to intervene, then stayed calm watching everything that was going on.

It happens a lot more than people realise. Just hope the local FA throw them out
