It's a documentary around 1 game (Crystal Palace V Man United) where he wore a head camera. Is this about "refereeing in the Premier League" or just a Jared Gillet doco in general?
Either aspects would be interesting, considering Jared's career path into the Premier League.
I’m sure you would get used to it, especially as the whole structure is virtually the same as the usual comms kit Referees use up to and including National League Prem and soon to include NL North & South.Very good short documentary. Have to say though, I think that camera would do my head in.
I believe he is injured so is only doing VAR at the moment. What's happened to him? Not been seen since September.
Only done 6 games this season.
Now we're getting untried, upcoming referees doing games and VAR.
Nothing against the untried, upcoming, ones but normally this has been reserved for dead rubber games late in season, not mid season games.
Being 4O on PL games suggests that he is likely on his way back to the PL. They don't often use SG2s and the ones they do use tend to be the ones that are on the way up.And not the first time Josh Smith has done a PL game. He is a very good Referee. It also does look at this moment of time that Bobby Madley is not going to make it back to the PL - though he has been a 4O on a few occasions this season.
If he was a younger Referee I would agree with you, but Keith Stroud was 4O on many occasions last season on the PL and never made it back.Being 4O on PL games suggests that he is likely on his way back to the PL. Bobby Madley slightly different because he has done it so not sure he needs as much bedding in as a SG2 but suppose it makes all equal. Was he 4O twice at the weekend did I see?
Wow, I never knew that Andy was older - he certainly doesn’t look it. If Bobby does make it back to PL it would be a long journey from when he left it, but at least he would have made it which I think must be a strong driver for him.Slightly different in that, according to reports, Stroud was interviewed for select Group 1 a couple of years back and was not promoted.
Bobby Madley is only 39 so I don't think age is a barrier. Seeing as his brother Andy is older.
I didnt say they never use SG2s, but it's not that often from what I see. Bobby is being used a bit, on the televised games too.
Yes that's correct. West Ham v Arsenal & Chelsea v VillaBeing 4O on PL games suggests that he is likely on his way back to the PL. They don't often use SG2s and the ones they do use tend to be the ones that are on the way up.

That is the challenge of your hair falling out, it instantly adds years onto how old people think you are. I speak from experienceWow, I never knew that Andy was older - he certainly doesn’t look it.
