Hi all.
"new sin bin procedures"... If a player has received a caution for reckless early in a game... Then later commits a "sin bin" offence.... Does that mean RC...
Ie does earlier YC count toward overall sanction even if first caution is not for dissent type offence
Got used to the earlier sin bins ( although a bit unwealdy)..
Now getting my head around more. My County gave some guidance which I'll be honest, I found more confusing than IFAB stuff.!!!!

It does mean RC now, yes... included in the Law Changes for 24-25.

More fool them, really.

I'm pretty sure that players will not know of the change. I can see a bit of 'on the hoof education' during the early games

That's a fair point, when sin bins came in CFAs went out to educate leagues and clubs. I haven't seen any plans for this to happen with this change.
 
I'm pleased about this change, and it caused so much confusion when a sin bin yellow wasn't a "real" yellow.

I reckon this actually is now just in line with what most players would have expected, so reckon we could find ourselves explaining how it used to be in order to explain how it's changed.
 
why is a player sent off for two seperate sin bins still allowed to be replaced after the second 10 minutes?

This makes no sense if all yellows are the same.

They aren't in the system that will be used in England (System B). I do agree that the other system (A) makes 0 sense though!

"A player who receives two cautions (YCs) in the same match is sent off (RC), even if one caution is/both cautions are for a temporary dismissal offence"

System B and system A are quite contradictory but I think that's because system A is all cautions are Temp dismissal and so the punishments will be more frequent and for potentially lesser offences.

What is "system A" and "system b"?
 
In System A, any player who receives 2 yellow cards can therefore be subbed. In system B, it will be a straightforward red card.
