Yes, I make you rightI'm not sure it can be a pen? Piadm sure but the restart is an idfk. Unless I'm mistaken in law
Would certainly have liked the ref to speak to aguero but would also liked to have seen some sort of engagement from the AR towards aguero
Direct if any contact with the opponent, indirect if not.Yes, I make you right
However, for some unknown reason, the pro-refs seem to class these as DFK offenses and therefore show reluctance to give them in the PA
Yeah you’re right, no contact so IDFK. Somebody could do with telling the pundits that though.I'm not sure it can be a pen? Piadm sure but the restart is an idfk. Unless I'm mistaken in law

Nothing in the Aguero incident. I wouldn’t even want a ref to get involved with that if I was that AR in a Sunday league game.
how do we feel if the penalty was given under the attempts to (kick, trip, strike) bracket?
Red for Cancelo for the rake down the achilles?
It would be incredibly petty, but should David Luiz be wearing red sweatbands? Do they fall into the same requirement as under armour/leggings etc?
Yeah I accept it would be a bit petty to actually tell him to take them off, in just wondering where that sits in terms of the LOTGYou'd be walking a fine line since referees in Spain and the US (probably more) wear whichever colour sweatbands they feel like!
Correct for the first part as it is specifically stated in the LOTG. Not necessarily correct for the second part. Attempting to kick is DFK but does not require contact. If it is PIADAM and attempting to kick at the same time, then the more serious offence requires DFK.Direct if any contact with the opponent, indirect if not.
If they don't give them, how do you know they class them as DFK?Yes, I make you right

Because they give DFKs outside the penalty area for similar offences? If they don't give them, how do you know they class them as DFK?
You are correct, of course, but I was replying specifically to a question about playing in a dangerous manner.Correct for the first part as it is specifically stated in the LOTG. Not necessarily correct for the second part. Attempting to kick is DFK but does not require contact. If in the PA and you want to punish but you don't want to give a PK, then you can deem it to be PIADAM but not at an attempt to kick.
