I'd certainly be upsetting the clothes police on here if I was out, I can tell you that much!Man up Snowflake!!
-19 this morning!
I was due to do a line this evening
Must admit, all afternoon I was waiting/hoping for the text to tell me it had been cancelled (has been pouring with cold, cold rain here) but nothing ...
An hour ago I got the call, apologising for the late notice, but game off. No need to apologise, says I, trying to hide my delight!
A warm evening on the sofa beckons!
We've all been there...I've been there Jeff - as the afternoon wears on, especially during the winter months, the light goes and it starts getting colder, you do sometimes end up thinking - ooooh would be nice if its off!

Even got an @Sheffields Finest credit on the local news.......need a monica change Mr BaileyNot snow related but last night I was driving up the A19 near Middlesbrough and came across a massive smoke plume. As I got closer it became apparent that a lorry was on fire under a bridge.
I had seconds to make a decision to boot it to get through on the inside. Those that didn’t or couldn’t follow were stuck for 4-5 hours.

Good job I wasn’t booked for a game etc because most of the players wouldn’t have got there.
Snow seems to be everywhere tonight but should be ok for the weekend.
You must be mistaken......you can never have been a northerner.........I can confirm it was bloody cold tonight.
I can also confirm, having refused to do it before on the basis that I was a Northerner and should just be able to deal with cold, that rubbing Vaseline on your hands and exposed legs is a game changer. For the first time ever after a game played at freezing levels I can read all of the names written into my notebook.
