    DOGSO

If, in your opinion, it has prevented the attacker from having an obvious goal scoring opportunity then yes, send the defender off, regardless of their age. The laws of the game make no allowances for the age group.

Why did you become a Referee?

Seem to come natural to me - loved football as a kid and always found myself dictating the laws on the school playgrounds and park when we were having a kickabout. Having began to not enjoy playing thought I'd take it up... Although I now find myself as manager of a local mates team more than...

    Clattenburg

Apparently he's been at it again... http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/southampton/10548282/Southampton-make-official-complaint-after-accusing-referee-Mark-Clattenburg-of-insulting-Adam-Lallana.html Hopefully it's not true and the club face a form of punishment for suggesting such...

Liners you can use during matches

Sometimes use "no need to argue; I'm always right" when a players questioning a decision but only when there's been a bit of banter through the game. Otherwise it could be quite provocative and cause trouble.

    Referee kits

Haha Ross... if Phil Dowd can pull it off I'm sure you can. I've had to size up on my Diamond top recently due to excessive weight training (chocolate to mouth) I've got 2 Diamond kits and a Respect kit as a spare, I prefer the Diamond kits because to me they are more comfortable. Diamond kits...

    Offside

A little confused. .. are Players A & B say red team and Player 1 say blue team? If so, play on, the other team have the advantage from intercepting the ball and passing to a team mate. If Player 1 picked the ball up but then was tackled by player B then yes it would be an offside offence.

    Asking a manager to substitute

Red card - SFP or VC depending whether the ball was in play. You've given them the option to remove the player and they've rejected so why not?

    A few talking points......

Oh and 3rd. Credit to Swansea for having the guy removed within around 10 mins of the Bassong incident

    A few talking points......

1st. Blatant dive, was quite obvious with the way he went down 2nd. Was just a 1960s re run wasn't it? Don't let them tv bosses let you believe that was a modern day game with those tackles!

Junior/Youth Players and their language at U12

Option 1 definitely, any sending off stop play immediately. Offinabus is not acceptable at any age group for me

    Persistant infringement

Gaz... if there is a notable pattern occurring I would suggest giving a warning to the offending team captain for the multiple late tackles. If any further fouls of a similar nature occur I would then suggest issuing a caution for unsporting behaviour as opposed to persistent infringement.

What would you do ... !?!?

IDFK for the entry in to the field of play by the substitute without the referee's permission? Would only justify a caution though.

What would you do ... !?!?

I think he sent off the sub GK who prevented the goal but decided he wasn't going to get any where near him so did it from where he was standing. In terms off punishment you could easily sell the red card for denial of a goal by handball (only the goal keeper is allowed to use his hands, the...

Open Age Well, what a game!

Biggest shame was with the allegation of racial abuse. I was right on top of the incident in which it is supposed to have happened so more disappointed that I didn't hear it if it did actually happen Ahh well, all included in a report to the County FA and the fact that I didn't hear it (but...
