Here in Dublin we can wear any colour once it doesn't clash with the teams or goalkeepers. I have black, green, yellow, blue, fluorescent yellow, orange and fuscia (pink) and wear them all. Wearing black all the time would be boring. :D

OUCH, the worst thing a ref can get-Shin splints and the cure is worse , REST REST REST. which means no games :(. Ice packs go some way to ease , but only shorterm. Sorry.

OUCH ! Can't believe that any ref would check not boots, shinguards or jewellery. Obviously not your fault as you have been told to not to check them. Here in Dublin, our assessor's would ROAST us if we didn't check players boots. In fact most teams, if not all, call us and ask are we ready to...
