He got up quicker than most though. I dont understand why he stopped it though.Didn't make Bellingham go off after stopping play due to an injury
Interesting to hear! They haven’t mentioned that at all on our TV!Long time reader, first time poster. Seeing as I'm from Norway I am of course biased in some of these decisions. I was just wondering if your broadcoast showed the controversy before the English goal.
Nyland takes a goal kick which hits the wire above the ground stopping the ball well short of the expected landing place and England goes straight in attack. I'm quite sure VAR doesn't have a protocol for what I would think would be a dropped ball, but seemed like a bad miss for the refereeing team.
Irrelevant. Has to go off as soon as he stops play due to an injury. He got up quicker than most though. I dont understand why he stopped it though.
Thought he was giving a free kick.
My guess is that he stopped it because he knew from player reaction he’d missed something but couldn’t give a foul on guesswork aloneHe got up quicker than most though. I dont understand why he stopped it though.

Apparently fifa have said the ball monitor (the same one that showed a spike for the goal that was disallowed for offside in the Portugal Croatia game) didn’t show a spike for the ball hitting a wireLong time reader, first time poster. Thanks for letting me know, but based on the video footage you wouldn't need to use technology to see that something weird was going on...Apparently fifa have said the ball monitor (the same one that showed a spike for the goal that was disallowed for offside in the Portugal Croatia game) didn’t show a spike for the ball hitting a wire
Oh take your blinkers off man.Really clear and obvious?
Youre kidding.
I agree his next step is the line of the ball, he is entitled to this spaceReally struggling to see how by that logic any foul is ever a foul when a player is shielding the ball
