It was deffo a goal, Atkinson clearly doesn't blow until its in the United net. And serves De Gea for going down like a lead balloonWhat is happening?
Feels wrong, is that a thing? If so, couldn’t a keeper go down in any situation like that?Should MA have stopped the game for the injury to the keeper?
I don't think he noticed it. He blew the whistle as soon as he did. But the ball had already gone in.Should MA have stopped the game for the injury to the keeper?
True this but I feel if it is genuine I would stop the game, even if it is a promising attack. It would be relatively easy to sell it if it is a genuine injury.Feels wrong, is that a thing? If so, couldn’t a keeper go down in any situation like that?

Ball didn't go out of play so play contines.Penalty all day. VAR will check it
Normally they stop play when a VAR check occurs don’t they? Rather than letting play carry on from the goal kick. Maybe I’m just making that up
No. No you aren't. Stood still. Looking right at it.Utterly ridiculous challenge, am I being too harsh in thinking that penalty should have been given in real time?
I’ve only half got an eye for it tbf, thought it had gone out for a goal kick.Ball didn't go out of play so play contines.
I swear I saw this in a thread the other day. Inclined to say it was One (maybe? And Big Cat I think as well) who questioned whether reds aren’t giving decisions they would in the past and are relying on VAR. either way, they got a lot of disagreement. I feel they could be rightNo. No you aren't. Stood still. Looking right at it.
That's an over reliance on the.video ref in my opinion.
They can't restart play with a check pending (as it would then be too late to change), but typically play goes on during the check. The R can stop play at a neutral point, but that is typically only once the VAR makes a recommendation for an OFR. (I recall once an R stopping during the check before an OFR recommendation.)Normally they stop play when a VAR check occurs don’t they? Rather than letting play carry on from the goal kick.
