    you are the ref...

Surely he's answered his own question? If there is an IDFK, a foul has taken place, meaning someone is legible for DOGSOF

    you are the ref...

Indirect FK where the player headed the ball (Or on edge of the goal area) - In the loaf this would probably fall under 'commits any other offence, not previously mentioned in Law 12, for which play is stopped to caution or send off a player' Red card for DOGSO - denying an obvious goalscoring...

    This weekend, what you got?

    Pinching an Opponent

I'm afraid to confess that I did this when I played, we called it Turkish marking, 9 times out of 10 it would lead to a well deserved elbow in the ribs by the opponent... Yellow card for USB makes sense to me, to call that 'violent' is a little farfetched

    Quenelle

After 4 weeks I doubt I'll remember. Whoever shouts the loudest etc.

    Quenelle

In all seriousness, the issue here is that it CAN (Not should be, but can) be interpreted as offensive, insulting or abusive. Whether the 'creators' or 'promoters' of the quenelle intended to or not, it now holds anti-semitic connotations. If a player is silly enough to try this on a football...

Stop play. Begin a 4-week long investigation and decide on what punishment to take, if any. Then restart play.

    St. Johnstone V Hearts

Can I ask what people think of this performance from the referee? Video is in the link.. Also, feel free to slate the feeble standard of Hearts and St Johnstone! http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/25693251

    Match Control

A referee complaining, never! It was a few months back now anyway so would be too late anyway. Whether I controlled the mass confrontation correctly isn't my question, I separated the two teams quickly and no major incidents occurred from it. What I am asking is, if after this incident where I...

    Match Control

I won't be following it up - I think it's a bit too easy to complain about an assessment where your marks aren't as high as you'd like, just interested to hear a few opinions on the matter

    Jerome Champagne

Despite his questionable name, I like some of his ideas. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/25811977 Not a fan of yellow cards, but he wants more technology in place for decision making, as well as ' allowing only the team captain to approach the referee and moving the ball 10 yards further...

    2014 / 15 Referee kit

Very much like the look of that new kit, doesn't look like the shirt is the same horrid material as this year. Anyone else find that if you're a sweaty gentleman like myself, the shirt would absorb every ounce, making your shirt weigh the equivalent of a small elephant?!

    Match Control

Aye this happened a while back. Was having a good, not great, but good match, until 88th minute where one of the players decided to call the other a C U Next Tuesday. Straight forward dismissal. This then led to a mass confrontation (Nothing I could do to prevent it surely?), which I managed...

    Junior/Youth Dismissing the linesman

No doubt that in time you'll learn to deal with it. The man in black is in charge

    Junior/Youth Dismissing the linesman

What a coward. Did he return your flag in one piece?! Sounds like you managed it about as well as could be expected, people like them are in the minority. EDIT: How long have you been refereeing? I find that with time it does wonders for confidence.

    Match Control

Assessors - Is it possible to 'lose match control', after an incident in the 88th minute, after which no incidents of note occurred? Surely if nothing happens after said incident, it is not possible to tell if the referee is in control of the match? Thoughts?
