well unless the commentator and the guy who wrote the copy have it verbatim from the referee, i would lay good money on the red card being given for serious foul play rather than denying a goalscoring opportunity

not sure i would have given either of the two penalties that the ref gave...though obviously i wasn't there so i can't swear on it...whilst i thought that there were a couple of better shouts for penalties, for hearts, in the second half

handling of sending offs (or is that sendings off) were textbook, i thought. ref made sure that the first player had walked before sending off the keeper, to avoid any continuation of the incident between the two players as they walked off the pitch
 
Should have given two more penalties (although a goal was scored from the second non-award), and the first red nailed on. His only intention is to stop the player getting to goal. There is nobody else there at all.
