‘Erosion of trust’: Wolves trigger vote to scrap VAR in Premier League

Wolves have been left aggrieved by a number of VAR decisions this season and, while they are not the only ones, their resolution will require 14 clubs to vote in favour to be passed

In a statement Wolves said: “After five seasons of VAR in the Premier League, it is time for a constructive and critical debate on its future. Our position is that the price we are paying for a small increase in accuracy is at odds with the spirit of our game, and as a result we should remove it from the 2024-25 season onwards.”

Ditch it! It’s rubbish! Test something else in a fog and guck league and come back in a few years time with something that’s not this car crash!

VAR Vote

Wasn't sure which sub forum was best for this so went here. Wolves have triggered a formal resolution to scrap VAR in the PL. A vote will be held on 6th June. Thoughts? Stay or go? What do you think will happen?
