The avuncular one
After a great season so far, complete crap game today. Crap but interesting.

Simmering in the first half (teams have history) a few words with players and then with captains are required. No cautions etc. but plenty going on. Lots of niggles when my back is turned but nothing I can do anything about.

Second half. I have seen this type of game before, I know what is coming. Away team lose all composure.A nice advantage by me results in a goal. away team claim offside. Goal allowed to stand. 3 of them give it some dissent. Awesome, 3 cautions. Can you caution 3 of us ref? Hell yes I can!

Away team too dumb to heed warnings that my patience has gone. 2 red cards follow (one DOGSO, the other 2 cautions). The 2 cautions guy earns himself 3 separate misconduct reports, which is a record for me.

Home team player earns a post final whistle red for OFFINABUS from nowhere (especially as they won and the team seemed happy)

Game was crap. But it was kept under control despite the poor behaviour and sportsmanship. Last season I might have let this get on top of me and lost control. Today, you have been warned, don't want to take any notice? lets exercise my card showing skills.

Only downside, lots of admin to complete.

3 misconduct reports? What on earth did he do that requires three reports.

I know the feeling where you're trying to help the players by literally telling them face to face to calm down etc and then two minutes later he's back screaming at you.
 
The guy just kept the abuse going instead of walking off. Then a little bit more whilst walking off.

Sounds like a tough one, well done on keeping it under control though! Some players/ teams just don't learn.
 
Aled my friend we don't name teams on here or discuss players/officials or spectators etc as it can be misinterpreted and next thing we are being brought before a local FA disciplinary hearing. Sites like this one, Facebook and twitter you never know who's reading.
