Why do I bother?

Worst thing at the moment is I take my daughter to a street dance class, where they dance around to Uptown Funk and she loves it. She's got into a habit of saying "funk" all the time. Alas when she says funk it sounds like a rather similar f word that is quite offensive. So we have to keep explaining to her not to say it so much.

We have a rule at home when it comes to swearing...

"What you hear or say in the [professional game] stands is not acceptable at home. Especially with your mother about."

Unfortunately, that often fails because the 5yo has the come-back "but mummy's at the games too!"

The fact that my mother curses worse than i do, in my head at least means i can swear like a banshee too
