Thoughts on the timing of the final whistle?
1-1, last ditch attack. A Whitehawk forward lets rip with a goal bound shot and the ref blows for full time before the ball lands in the net.
My feeling is that, although correct in law, it was a poor time to blow the whistle.

I think he thought the attack might've been over, the ball does go up in the air and if he had decided to bring it down instead of unexpectedly volleying it into the back of the net then we wouldn't be having this conversation.
