The Ref Stop

What do you use for the coin flip

ok, my muddled intended post was, ( the very real) situation that unique coin was handed to 4ths for a few seasons
It was then lost during a game
It was only found via the groundsman and a machine

nobody felt comfy being charged with this coin, yet, nobody felt they could refuse

it was this my bullying notion came from,

apologies for the muddled posts.

That sounds like a Boris apology 😂

But have we ascertained that you will or won't hold the coin for the referee if it is something like a 2p coin?

Not a chance, I will however have my own 2p avail fior them

just to touch on someone elses post re potential changes to law on this, amazing if its a practise discussed and the consensus was, discourage...

tbc!

I have seen in the iFAB book that it advises you to get a special coin for it. And then on various refereeing sites like 'The referee store' you can buy a coin for like £7. What do you people use? Personally I just use whatever coin I have in my bad whether that be 2p, 10p, 50p, £1 or £2. However that has led to me sadly losing several pound coins on the pitch.
50p Beatrix Potter, Benjamin Bunny. I have two in my collection so I thought I would put one to good use and would kind of not be the end of the world if I lost it!

With the law chsnge I must start using a coin. I just got given some family heirlooms, one of which is a large Manx coin, named Odin’s Raven! It looks arch.

Unfortunately my next matches are 12-13 girls tournament at the weekend… heads or…er… Viking longship…?
