On MOTD2 last night he was bemoaning the fact that EVERY week all he is asked about after the match is a refereeing decision.
He went on to say despite having plenty to say on the 95 minutes of FOOTBALL each week, all he is ever asked to comment on is 30 seconds or less of action centred around a 'controversial' refereeing decision.
I have to agree - transfers and referees now make up the majority of the media coverage - seems at times the actual football takes 2nd or 3rd place.
Of course, I have to say VAR will only make that worse!
