Just read that Simon Davies, the ex Tottenham Hotspurs and Fulham midfielder will be playing for Solva FC in the Pembrokeshire League Division Two. WTF? He's still only 34. They have an awful ridge on their pitch and it's normally covered in badgers or foxes poop. Shame I'm leaving and won't get the pleasure of Ref'ing him, you'll have to let us know if you get a chance Supermonkey.

I read this earlier and was hoping I get a chance to do a game he plays in.

Gotta think he is gonna stand out playing in that division..... :)
 
Just a touch, if he plays on the 13th at Carew I'm not sure the ref will know what is going on when loads of people rock up to watch. I've always found them a decent team to ref, even if their pitch is a little odd.
 
As a spurs fan I can only say he was a great player. Not the most skilled in the well, but had a great work rate about and always seemed a really honest and decent chap.
 
Scored a couple of screamers in his day. Cross my fingers I get his team again this season - had them 3 times last season.
