Have 3 matches in 4 days - feared they would all be off because of yesterday's deluge.

However just seen on today's home club's twitter feed that the game is ON! Happy days - especially as I am back there on Weds evening.

Monday's game has already been postponed once so still fear for that one but happy with 2/3!

Despite the rain, my cup game went ahead last Saturday, but only because the teams agreed to reverse the fixture.

On a similar theme i remember losing 4 months of football in the late 90s. We had waterlogged pitches between Nov and January followed by frozen pitches until late February. I think some of the county cups were cancelled too.
