Vidic - lucky to stay on the field

After watching match of the day, I can't quite figure out how Vidic stay on the field.
Should he have walked for the challenge on Ba? Should he have got a second yellow for another tackle later on?
Thoughts?

2nd yellow for me.

The first one wasn't "obvious"......the attacker still had a lot to do if he was going to score......the ball seemed to go a fair distance from him.

I've seen the straight red given for similar though. 2 yellows for me too

I agree with Padfoot, not all of the boxes for DOGSO were ticked for me so I think, for that one at least, the decision was correct and a yellow was the correct punishment.
