As we know, VAR did look at it, just didn’t send it down. While I would like that to be a red, I don’t know how likely it is to meet the C&O level in many leagues.

Agree, I can only assume the fact he missed with both legs, and only made contact with his trailing body, saved him. Stupid tackle, and lucky to get away with it, but I've seen worse non-VAR interventions.
