The way i see it, as long as you're fit enough, then age shouldn't come in to it. I know of a referee who was still going at 73, the reason he called it a day was that his eyesight quickly deteriorated and he didn't want to wear glasses on the FOP.
I know of some Counties that do release the scores from assessments. I don't know whether as a referee i'd want to know it to be honest
