Hi,

I have noticed some Touchline Flags on Gumtree for just short of £400. Do you think they would be any good for me to buy as a level 4 referee who is hoping to get to level 3?

At your level they would be more beneficial. Although I'd say for an extra 50 quid you could get some brand new

They are £359 so that makes them much cheaper. I have used some Touchline flags before and they were very good

At that kind of money Stick the extra few pound to it and get a new set ur better off

Like with anything second hand I'd be careful, especially when parting with nearly 400 notes. If you can test them before buying I'd certainly recommend that. Last thing you want is to be left with duds

Testing would be good. The seller tells me that they have only been used once but he needs to sell them as he is packing up

Like I said caveat emptor. Buyer beware, just do everything you can to not get burned

They come with a decent guarantee when bought new. Worth checking if that is still valid pre purchase.

I would get the serial number from the seller then contact [email protected] tel:08009802208 to check if it's all OK you have got yourself a bargain.
