Level 5 Referee
After what has seemed like the most stressful week at work ever, I found out this afternoon that I've been promoted to level 5. To say I'm chuffed is an understatement. The thing is I have kind of reached where I wanted to get to in refereeing as a late starter ( I'm now 34), but now I'm here I might reassess, hmmmm.

Congratulations. Now the hard work starts, but it will be worth it in the long run.

Late starter at 34!!
I'm 50 and just started L7-6 promotion year. I want to get to L5, too.
Also I know a ref who started at similar age to me went for L4. He only missed out because of injury which meant he wasn't able to take the fitness test.
I'd say you've got several more good years to go and why limit your ambition?
