LOTG 14/15 state interfering with an opponent means: "clearly obstructing the opponent’s line of vision" or "challenging an opponent for the ball" I don't think the scenario I mentioned comes under either so think 14/15 rules mean this goal should stand (Which I think most would find a bit silly)
