Bloody hell.
3) You are very patronising. 'Now I am a higher level', 'decent level ref here' etc... I would advise you to get off your high horse. Your level does not mean a lot on this forum, it is the wisdom, advice and experience you share that does.
That is all.
Not intended to be patronising, just saying that it's experience that has taught me this.
As for a 'duty,' I'm of the opinion that my 'duty' is toward the player's enjoyment and to the rules combined: that;s my opinion, and you are welcome to disagree.
I'm not sure of what 'last week's ref' means - could you enlighten?
Of course I am. As are you. As is everyone on here. No-one is infallible, especially at low-level, particularly with negative players. Read the blog post, and I agree.

Again, a difference of opinion. I, personally, value match control above all. And I will happily stand up and be 'Last Week's Ref'.
But I'm happy to agree to disagree, in this situation.
Level 4
No. It's a different level, with different expectations. And do you follow the same philosophy when not being assessed at supply league football?
At some levels, with some players, yes.
No. It's a different level, with different expectations.
At the end of the day, we have to realise that by sending someone off we are ruining their Saturday. If we send it in to the FA, we are costing them money.
And you are welcome to that opinion, and I am going to disagree. In my opinion, I am there to facilitate a match within my control, and to the enjoyment of myself and players.
I may, by law, be wrong, and I may cause an issue for the next referee if they cannot control the match. I accept that, and perhaps shouldn't do it. But I do not accept that my integrity is lacking.
