Hi all,

I’m interested in seeing how different teams around the world confirm the team sheet with the referee, paper copy of a formal email, etc.

Examples would be great,

Thanks,
Dave

The Ref Stop
Last season, my last (at the moment, may go back next season), the leagues I was on was all different.

Some were still using paper copies, some were using the app Comet, whilst one done both (in case the app failed).
With regards to the app, some leagues were asking teams to complete the team lines the day before, few days before, whereas another was happy as long it was completed by end of the match (but handed the ref a paper copy). The idea of the app can be great, but how does a youth team manager know 24+ hours ahead of the match who is playing, what condition the players will be in and what if something happens en route, or during warm up? It is harder to change on the app than a piece of paper.

All my leagues have been paper, except the Northern Counties East (Step 5/6) which is electronic and until now used 'Grassroots Live' (run by RefSix, not integrated with RefSix) but this season is using Football Web Pages.

I design my League's team sheet. Image attached. It's paper and we issue team sheet books with carbon copy sheets for ref/opposition copies.
Happy to receive any comments to improve...

Our league is an editable PDF that has to be emailed to the referee, opponents and league at least 15 minutes before kick off.

My main league is a carbon copy paper version that must be given to the officials and opposition at least 15 mins before KO. Another league I have done used emails and they had to be received by the referee no later than 20 mins before KO
