Tape for badge

Hey,
What is the best tape you guys use to hold a badge in place? One that preferably doesn’t fall off constantly or come off in the rain.

I just use relatively basic double sided tape. I put a strip around each edge and then a cross strip in the middle. I don't think it's ever come off.

To be fair, I believe it probably the most common shape for a county badge. Manchester, Lancashire, Herts, Wiltshire, Derbyshire, Devon, Hunts, Bedfordshire, Oxfordshire, Amateur FA... etc...

Most places sell iron-on heat transfer badges; how are you guys going around getting tape/velcro onto these?

a) go direct to county for woven one
b) iron it on an old pillow, cut it out, tape that
