Tape Advice!

Morning all!

I’ve been using the carpet tape trick to temporarily stick my Match Official badge to my Puma shirt for games, however when I remove said badge after the game, the tape is STUCK onto the shirt… to the point where I had to stick my shirt in the freezer

Any advice on easier removal of the tape adhesive from my shirt?

My advice would be to not use such strong tape. Simple basic double sided tape will do the job just as well. I got mine from b&m for £1

Cheers mate - just with the weight of the silicone badge, I don’t want it flying off

Any reason you haven't just ironed it on?

As those of us in the U.S. have to have multiple shirts even at low level, we use Velcro on the badge and shirt. They usually come with the shirt. But Amazon sells them—not sure if they ship to the UK. https://www.amazon.com/Referee-Stic...5227&sprefix=velcro+badge,aps,209&sr=8-7&th=1

Don't be such a tight wad and just buy a shirt with the badge already on it!!
