Don't you just love it when managers show how clueless they are?

Around the 40th minute today, Wednesday intercepted a through ball and the defender then passed it straight into the path of Navas. He was stood about five yards offside.

Stuart Gray went mad on the touchline and proceeded to berate the linesman next time he was near.

Well done Stuart, excellent football knowledge! :D

I was fairly impressed with Michael Oliver today... Although being in the away end, I would've liked to have seen Jovetic being sent off for the two/three kicks he aimed at our CBs off the ball during the first half just cos he was getting beaten to anything by them. Also, how Yaya Toure stayed out of the book for his constant dissent is beyond me....

How Yaya stays out of the book in any game is beyond me, he's so petulant when we're not playing well.

There was a lot of off the ball stuff from both teams today that wasn't punished; take the attempts to kick Silva out of the game and Jovetic kicking out as an example.

Thought you were unlucky, excellent performance and a better reflection than the 7-0 in the Capital One Cup.

Hahaha. I'd probably go along with that as a fair assessment - City's class shone through in the end, and wore us down. Bit of a sickener to concede so late to lose the game, but as you say, a much better showing than the League Cup, and that was the only expectation from today.

We can also concentrate on the league now, which is what we wanted to do anyway... Obviously ;)
