Strangest caution for delaying restart of play?

Nope, it might be why the stuff gets thrown, but he's definitely not been booked for that. Look at the clock on that screenshot - 60 mins, the clip posted above where the card actually gets shown starts towards the end of the 63rd minute.
And regardless, If that's what the card was for, he would have been shown it when the ref first came over to talk to him. That was clearly a warning to get on with it and then when he doesn't, out comes the caution. I'm not happy with the referee forgetting his obligation towards player safety, but he is at least consistent within the clip!
I'm sure 99.9% of people think this is a bullcrap yellow card! Just saying!!!

Maybe slightly off referee topic but I think this incident not being taken as seriously as if should be. Its almost being accepted
Can you imagine a bottle being thrown as Andy Murray was about to serve at Wimbledon?
Also, referees are envouraged to halt games if racial abuse is heard? No doubt racial abuse is vile and wrong and am not making light of it, but, some unacceptable chanting or a glass bottle to the head? Both are wrong but given the choice, which one would you rather?
Also, Celtic had to replay a tie in, late 80s? Due to a bottle being thrown on the park.
This tie shoukd now be awarded to Celtic, with no second leg to be played

Did he actually give him a yellow card? Watching the clip above he had the card out of his pocket, then saw the bottle, and at no time did I see him "raise" the yellow card.
He than has quick word with the player and motions writing on his hand - perhaps he was just saying get on with it or I'll book you.
If he did card him, I hope it gets rescinded. Shocking behaviour from the crowd.

According to all the reports I've checked, Griffiths was cautioned.
After the ref told him to take it and he went back to do so, a glass bottle (and other objects) were thrown at him, landing on the pitch. What was he supposed to do, take the corner with missiles coming down and a glass bottle lying several feet inside the playing area?
I don't think UEFA allows yellow cards to be appealed except in cases of mistaken identity. Agree with the behaviour from the crowd and UEFA will be considering sanctions against Linfield for it.
Griffiths might also face further sanctions for tying a Celtic scarf around one of the goalposts after the game as well.
I don't see any way you can pre-emptively award the second leg to a team without even playing it, based on something that happened in a previous match. If it happened, it would be totally unprecedented.

Well unprecedented yes but Imo the strongest action possible should be taken
Sportsmen, or anyone, should be able to go about their work without threat of a flying bottle! Had Celtic lost that game, then based on the Viienna game all those years ago then a replay at a neutral venue would need to be the minimum.
But given that was, thirty years ago, surely the punishment should be more severe. If anyone chucked a bottle at John Higgins about to pot for a 147 then armed police would huckle the guy out in minutes. At this football match it seems to be exoected as an incident. If players and teams and indeed referees are encouraged to leave the park due to racist chanting then for me, the actual safety of the players is more important and Celtic should have been able to say sorry, this environment is not safe and we are not playing. Extreme action is needed, not simply not doing something because its not been done before. The guy was trying to take a corner kick in a sports event, not hold up an old folks home till with a nuclear weapon. Fining Linfield has no affect on the folk responsible, who tbh, might not even set foot in the ground again anyway and only did so because of the opponent. Saying to the team sorry, your out, might make the guilty a bit more unpopular with his townfolk.

And to prove am not just full of scorn but also solutions, a quick thinking referee might have been proactive and said to take the corner from the other side ? Maybe then had an object went close to the AR then severe action would be forthcoming instead of a yc for delaying the restart of play!
