Spintso watch battery change

My Spintso has started to flash with what looks like a 'low battery' icon on the screen. I know they don't have a great reputation for battery life but in your experiences, how long left before the battery truly expires? (It was okay on September 19 but, flashing on September 25)
A secondary question, how and where can I get a replacement fitted? High street shop, market stall or is it a specialist operation like a Tag or Rolex?

I've had mine for about 18 months now and have not needed a battery replacement yet. On occasion I see the 'Battery Low' icon flashing, but according to the manual Dan Spyer provided the link to, this is perfectly normal. If you're wary of replacing the battery yourself, you can print out the instructions and take the watch to a watch repair shop and have them do it.
