Don’t say I didn’t warn you, but I reckon this is going to split opinion into two camps:

The “meh, good on them for getting the game going” camp and those outraged at the sacrilegious breaking of Law 5 ....

It appears a ref was late to a game, so someone agreed to stand in for the first five mins until he arrived. But there was no whistle. However (and why remains a mystery) someone did have a harmonica ...

That is genius. A lot different to not having a coin as he does have a whistle of some description with him.
 
It's unorthodox, but aside from the ability to make pretty noises, I doubt harmonicas differ much from a pealess whistle.

The civvies may not appreciate that saying ZaZa in a military sense!!
 
Step 7 so probably had AR’s as well. How did all 3 not have a whistle between them?
 
If that was step 7 surely the senior AR should have stepped in, or the match word have been delayed until the ref appeared.
 
I seriously thought dad joke experts would gobble this up.

The first complaint he got was about changing his tune every second minute.
