Has anyone tried these? And if so, your opinions?

Im finding ASICS boots harder to find and the getting decent insoles to fit boots is a challenge I haven’t the time or money to deal with.

Cant get the level of support I need in Nike boots, Adidas boots aren’t wide enough and Puma let me down too many times before.

If anything like their trainers they will be very comfortable but probably not offer much support. When I saw the podiatrist as part of my injury rehab he said the trainers were too flimsy and lightweight and not providing me the support and stability I needed.

This was why the ASICS were great, especially the gel soles. In others I use the Orthosole inserts but getting them to fit properly is an issue.

Wondered if the cushioning in Skechers was a good alternative to the ASICS gel.

In a similar vein I took the recommendation of HOKA trainers and that was a positive switch and good alternative

As a common buyer of Asics high end running trainers I was only able to find Asics football boots via American or Australian sites. Wish they were available more over here

Yeah, the podiatrist gave me recommendations of HOKA, a couple of Asics, and Brooks Adrenaline. I went for the latter and the achilles issue quickly disappeared, I've just torn my calf now instead 😢

Definitely love the 4s too, 5s arent too bad. For proper runs the SuperBlast 2s are the best I think I've had. Just need to put some moulded studs to them and I'd be so happy
Never had any superblasts, I'm a bit tight, but I bought some Magic Speeds for racing, but theyre probably abit less comfortable than ideal for a full marathon, my next planned investment was some Metaspeeds

Skechers boots are quite a narrow fit as I found when trying some out at the weekend. Had to go up a whole size, rather than the half I usually do to get a good fit. Will see how they work out when the pitches soften up some and go from there.
