Second-hand Touchlines or Signal Bip? Touchline repair questions

I am looking at Touchline or Singal Bio buzzer flags. I have a couple of second hand options (I can't justify the price for them new) - Touchlines for £250 (mates rates, but the receiver needs to be sent off for repair) or Signal Bip for £275.

I've used both, and these are my two favourites. Both seem to have high build quality and good buttons. I'm aware the SB flags are bright orange, which is quirky, however, the big advantage of these is that the flags are rechargeable and do not require batteries.

What does everyone else think about the Signal Bips? I really enjoyed using them this season, but what's reliability like? The person I know who owns them really likes them, but he's also the only person I know who has these.

How much are Touchline repairs generally? I know their website states they take around 10 days.

I’ve used the touching repairs service twice in the last year. I can’t fault them. I definitely had them back in less than 10 days (obviously this depends)

Cannot fault the touchlines. I love them.

Also, regarding cost.

I recently had some work done:
- both handles replaced (buttons worn through)
- seal replaced on the top end of one
- full service to receiver, both flags and the 4th stick

£150 I think it cost me.

Just found my initial payment to them for them to completely overhaul my receiver. The vibrate function had broken, the seal had split and the wiring needed replacing.

£110 all in.
Cor, sounds like it can add up. My only concern about the Signal Bips is that I think they’re based in France, so I assume repairs aren’t easy
