Thoughts on the second yellow on 30 seconds and penalty at 1:48?

Agree with second yellow. Penalty looks the wrong decision.

2nd yellow is hard to tell from the angles given, but looks very soft.

The pen absolutely looks wrong

Second yellow looks like a very poor decision to me.
The penalty looks even worse than that.

I don’t like it when people claim a bad refereeing decision is ‘corruption’ but this penalty decision won’t do a lot to prevent that…

I’m not saying you’re right or wrong, but out of interest, what is it that makes you agree with the 2nd yellow?

Personally, think both are incorrect decisions. Seems like total arrogance that he didn’t reverse his decision for the penalty.

My observation is the amount of players surrounding the ref and their reaction to his decisions and nothing done

I think the penalty is justifiable as a holding offence.

Had something similar to this penalty last week, attacker in the action of shooting and player with his arms out without pushing sort of blocks him - no one appealed but I did have a quiet word with the defender and told him in future to keep his arms down as any extra force would leave me with a decision to make!!
