Ladies Rock bottom

Yup ladies and gentlemen we have hit rock bottom.
Ladies games this afternoon, home manager is a fellow referee, and early on in the game, he started making remarks on my style of refereeing.
Early warning did not help. Halfway through the first half, yup cautioned him for dissent.
I would have hoped that would suffice, but early on in second half, bad tackle from away 11 onto home 14, cautioned the away player, and said manager/referee swear blatantly at me. I'm trying to calm him down, but he keeps swearing at me. No other choice than to red card, OFFINABUS.
I'm kinda of meh right now.

Appalling. There is a special place in hell for referees who publicly disrespect their colleagues. He should have known better and as a fellow referee he should have been able to harness a lot more self control. I hope you are OK.

Do you know he was a referee, or did he just tell you that he was? If the latter he almost certainly isn't a qualified referee, the same way that for decades Neil Warnock has claimed he is when he definitely isn't. Either way, him getting a red card won't land well with his RDO.

I think for some refs, they just can't help themselves. There is a very good ref (and very good ref mentor) in my area that has been banned from coaching in more than one place because he can't translate what he knows is proper coach behavior when he refs to how he actually behaves when he coaches.
