Villa vs Swansea... Villa defender just outside PA, near the goal line, not being closed down very quickly at all. Ball is at his feet. He chips the all up, does a couple of keepy upys before heading ball back to the keeper. Keeper catches the ball.

Nothing given by the ref. No complaint from any swansea players or fans. Play continues as if nothing happened.

Test time: is this an offence? If so, what disiplinary action would you take? What should the correct restart be?

Im sure we would all of spotted this! 😉

yellow card, idfk, unsporting behaviour (using a trick to circumvent the laws)
position of the free kick would, imo, be where the keeper picked it up as this would be a more advantageous position than where the offence actually took place.

Correct bar the position. The keeper commited no offence so you can't play advantage. The offence was by the defender so his location is the restart.

Edit: in addition, you can give the free kick even if the keeper doesn't pick it up or even before the ball gets to the keeper.
