I am currently on my basic course and i know i am getting the RA kit free with it but i have heard that the quality isn't very good, i was just wondering if anyone had tried and it and knew what the quality was like?

also if anyone knows where i can get a cheap black kit (size small or medium and in short sleeve) umbro preferred please as my budget isn't very big after just paying for the course as im 14 15 in just over a week?

I have the RA kit that I use as a spare. It's not too bad, although. Feel the Velcro on the shirts isn't great. It's not a bad starter at all!

Your best bet for cheap Umbro kits is ebay, normally find some decent stuff on there, especially in your sizes!
 
My mate is the the UK supplies officer for the RA , There kits are always value for money and are long lasting and are the best alternative for those starting up who cannot afford the umbro kits phone the RA sop and speak to Andy Stickley he will guide you in the right direction
