Hi

I am looking to purchase some new boots (mine are now on the verge of death - so I need to have some ready to go).

I am looking at Puma, and wondering which are the 'better' boots. I am somewhat clueless.

Puma King Top FG Football Boot or Puma King Pro FG Football Boots.

Both look smart. The King Top looks more 'old school', but really have no clue.

Puma King Pro for me and you'd have to chisel them off my feet when I cark it. LOVE THEM.

Edit: king PRO

I'm currently rocking these. I can't speak as to how long they will last for but I am yet to find a pair that last me longer than a season - but I do usually shop in the bargain basement prices - so I'm hoping that an RRP of £100 suggests better quality and longer lasting. Might tempt me into the premium price ranges in future.

They were quite painful on the line when they were new, but now they are broken in those issues have subsided.

The kings are currently on discount at the same price of the Pros - both look very different in terms of design/materials.

I am mulling getting a pair of these and perhaps the astro also, for those lovely rock hard pitches (and sidelines)... Think the credit card might be feeling quite overworked...

I'm happy with mine this far. The proof will be in the longevity. And that would determine my willingness to pay full whack.

Oh hang on - these are the ones I wear too (with the white detail).

Like lovely slippers 😍

Wore Puma Kings for years as a player. Lasted me ages. Cleaned and polished after every use and they just get comfier. Always went for ‘top tier’ boots after suffering numerous blisters from take down models.

I've gone King Tops AG/FG. They seem okay. Fit a little tight. But the more I wear them, the better they are getting.

Last year, I bought a pair of Puma King Top FG boots (product code 105607_01) off Vinted and got them for an absolute bargain price of £15 !!! I don't think the seller realised what they were selling.
