After losing almost 7 stone in the past year, decided to go for my 5. Have had 2 assessments so far, one above standard, one expected standard. Fitness still an issue as I have a couple of stone still to lose and I'm old, but my weight doesn't seem to be too much of a block any more. Anyone out there know if I'm on the right track for 5 or am I too low?

The FA guidance is that from your three assessments you need at least two at expected standard or above. So you appear to be well on track, but CFAs are also looked to look at other things such as administration, availability, conduct, etc, so good grades don't necessarily mean promotion any more.

I am going for 4 this season and have already had three assessments so am pretty chuffed. Everything is clicking nicely into place at the moment so I don't really want the season to end. My wife does though!!!

Not sure how the 3 assessments youve had will count, bearing in mind that the critera have not been released ?!?!

I'm going for my first promotion and have had 1 assessment at standard
I'm going for 7-6, I've got two assessments out of the way, so have 1 more to go and then hope my club marks are high enough.

Next season I'm aiming for two middles a week 1 Saturday and 1 Sunday with Sunday being a mixture of OA men and OA women for a bit of variety and Saturday being OA men.

I've also registered as an AR for the Ryman u21 league to get more experience on the line and to work with more experienced officials.
how many level 7 referees are going for promotion In your area

Your 1 of the lucky ones I was getting call off quite a lot but was able to get 3 games in and 1 assessment before season ended
