I'd never want my assistants to say "delay". This is only for use with VAR when an offside offence has been identified and the delayed flag protocol is being used. "Waiting on #" is the preferred terminology.

I also would recommend that, when using comms, an AR saying "foul foul foul" is just not enough information. You may be looking at the feet and see no infringement, but the AR has seen a shirt pull or an elbow. Therefore, if they're coming in with a foul, I need to know the method of foul and whether they recommend a sanction or not.
