Found this website that sells poppies that can be stuck on sports kit, useful for any referees that want to wear one too and a lot safer I suppose.

Saw this on our league website a few weeks ago and thought it was a good idea, got it organised for my team as well. Hope as many as possible get involved.

Shame the money doest all go back to the poppy appeal. I think it's a trick that is missed by the RBL. Admittedly I have a kit with one one, but if it aint a RBL poppy, any monies they state are given are less than they would be getting direct (still better than none thought i suppose).

I asy this from epereience of being with a company that has given "profits", when what they do is increse their operating costs - same as not for profit organisations.....
